Georgetown Graduate

Can't believe my baby sister graduated from Georgetown. She has fought and beat so many odds to be where she is today and I am beyond proud of her! Kortney you wear so many hats...a mom, sister, student, daughter & friend, and you do it so well and you are an inspiration to me! I love you and the skies the limit!

2008

2008 has been great...no pun intended:). as usual can't believe a year has come and gone. this year has been extra fun watching saylor grow and change, along with her mommy's belly, again! here's a little update for those who wanna know. no baby yet! this little guy is taking his sweet time. 5 cm dilated and belly is growing daily. i'll be induced sunday morning if he doesn't decide to make an appearance before then. so far it's worked out as planned. didn't want a christmas eve or christmas baby, nor a new year's baby (with 7 1/2 hours to go, i'm keeping my fingers crossed and my legs!!:) besides all that i feel great, the little monkey inside is still letting his mommy have some good night zzz's. we're so excited to meet this little guy, so we'll keep you posted!!

p.s....we don't have any names so if you have any suggestions send 'em our way!!

Joy Ride

We bought this front riding bike seat for Saylor and she loves it!!! It's been so fun taking bike rides as a family. She's definitely ridin 'n style!:)

Shock value

Many of you have already heard, but here's our official announcement....#2 is on it's way!!! now before reading any furthur pick your chin up off the floor.:) believe me I was as shocked as you. Definitely not planned, but oh so excited!! I think I took a total of 5 pregnancy tests because I didn't believe it and couldn't figure out how?!! but then again it is possible!!::) so our new little joy will be arriving Jan. 7th. We're hoping to find out in the next couple of days what's between the legs of this munchkin. I'm sure your saying to yourself, but wait she just had a baby...and yes i did! but hey i've got 4 empty seats in the tahoe so why not fill 'em up! just kidding!! we are thrilled and filled with joy to add a new little one to our family!

Grandpa's Birthday

my dad's birthday was back on the 17th so they decided to celebrate and fly out here to enjoy some sunshine and to play with little peanut. we had the best time! My dad was "tim the tool man taylor" and did a lot of odds n ends projects that me and bob procrastinate. We can't wait for them to visit us in August for Saylors BIG "1st" birthday! Love ya mom and dad, thanks for everything!!

Mommy's Day

To all you mother's out there happy be-lated Mother's Day. I hope your day was full of sunshine! Sunday was an awesome day! My sweet husband and Saylor cooked me breakfast and gave me the most beautiful gift. He knows I love orchids!! Now I just hope I don't kill it! I'm so blessed to be a mommy and wouldn't trade it for anything! I have one concern though....why only 1 day a year??!! :) There are so many other days that our husbands can clean, cook, buy us presents etc. etc....=)

I was going through some pictures tonight and came across baby pictures of my cute husband!! I just had to post them because they look so much like Saylor. I knew she looked a lot like him but oh my gosh!!

Say Cheese!

Bobby had the day off yesterday, so we decided to get Saylor's pictures taken at the mall. We had so much fun, and they turned out too cute!!Not too shabby for mall pictures. She's growing up to fast, before I know it she'll be 1, and next getting married!!

BEE-E-A-UTIFUL DAY

the weather has been stellar, so we headed to the park. saylor loved the swing and it's so enjoyable to watch her discover new things. this summer is going fun!!

Always a good time

I know I haven't blogged for awhile, but I'm baaack! Saylor and I went to Utah for a week, to visit grandma and grandpa. we celebrated my birthday while I was there and i woke up to a snow storm! it's freaking April? We did all sorts of fun things...kangaroo place, dinosaur museum, visited great-grandparents at there ranch, watched baby cows being born, rode trackers, shopped, ate the best Turkey avocado and bacon sandwich from Kneaders, and just hung out. Saylor of course got an ear infection the day after we got there (those stupid planes) but she didn't let that dampen her spirits. She loved playing with her cousin isaac, and he loved giving her hugs and kisses, and teaching her to crawl (which she still hasn't mastered, but i'm in no hurry) So here's a few pictures from our fun vacation back home.
