2008
2008 has been great...no pun intended:). as usual can't believe a year has come and gone. this year has been extra fun watching saylor grow and change, along with her mommy's belly, again! here's a little update for those who wanna know. no baby yet! this little guy is taking his sweet time. 5 cm dilated and belly is growing daily. i'll be induced sunday morning if he doesn't decide to make an appearance before then. so far it's worked out as planned. didn't want a christmas eve or christmas baby, nor a new year's baby (with 7 1/2 hours to go, i'm keeping my fingers crossed and my legs!!:) besides all that i feel great, the little monkey inside is still letting his mommy have some good night zzz's. we're so excited to meet this little guy, so we'll keep you posted!!
p.s....we don't have any names so if you have any suggestions send 'em our way!!

Oblivious
Quote of the day
Bobby: "This is probably a stupid question, but how long has that picture been hanging over our bed?"
Kacey: "Since we moved in two years ago!!!"

A Christmas Tradition
Mickey's Christmas Carol is by far one of my favorite Holiday movies and I watch it every year. It always brings back childhood memories of Christmas. Saylor & I tuned in to the Disney Channel today and had a mother daughter movie session. No popcorn, but we snacked on plenty of M&M's. I think I cry everytime I watch it! It's a classic and if you've never seen it shame on you!:) jk In the words of tiny Tim.."God bless us everyone!"

Charlie Brown Tree
been tagged! here ya go courtni! Last year after Christmas, I ran out to Home Depot because they had 6 ft. prelit trees on sale for $15. I thought what a steal!! Well little did I know that once it's put together it resembles the Charlie Brown Tree. We kept talking about getting a 'real' tree this year, but then realized with another baby on the way, the money could probably be put to better use...hence diapers!!:) Needless to say I had to do a lot of decorating and stuffing to make this tree look decent. Surprisingly Saylor is totally oblivious to the tree but wants to rip right into those presents! Smart girl!:) TAG! would love to see ya'lls. Merry Christmas!

'tis the season
Nothing like a good old fashion 'ugly christmas sweater' party. Our friends invited us to our first official one, and it was a blast! thanks donna & jared!
I especially loved my cumberbun!! Can't see it but I had an awesome side pony tail. I don't think i've had one of those since back in the banana clip era!! Bobby's nickname for the night was Country Club Ken!

Mi Familia
This thanksgiving was extra special! My family flew here from Utah and I was able to host it at my house, which forced Bobby to finally do the things that have been on my "honey do list" for ages!! The weather was beautiful, the food was delicious and the company was wonderful.
The table & my first turkey! not too shabby I think Martha would be impressed
the 3 bambinos! and a fun night of bowling

Halloween Spooktacular
We had a fun filled Halloween this year! Bobby & I were in charge of our church Trunk-or-Treat which seemed to be a success. Daddy had planned a business trip over halloween weekend, so Saylor & I headed back west to see grandma & grandpa. She loved trick-or-treating with Isaac and thought it was so fun watching all the kids running from house to house.
Trunk-or-Treating with daddy at our church party. Horace, Rolley & Cruella
Isaac wasn't quite sure about his costume at first, but by the end of the night he was lovin every minute of it. The cutest part was if there was a house that no one was home at, they would leave a bowl of candy with a note that said "take one", he made sure to only take one for him and one for Saylor and kept looking at the other kids with this concerned look, why they were taking a hand full!!:) Saylor just got frustrated trying to open her candy!
