Fashion Rules

Thought of the day: As I put on Saylor's white dress and white sandals today i thought...

Does the rule "You can't wear white after Labor Day" really apply in Florida? I mean seriously it's sunny all year long and it's never below 75 degrees!!

Kacey Jo,

I'm no fashionista, so I won't try to sound like I know anything by offering any advice on that subject. I just wanted to say hi. This is Karen -- your old ESG buddy just popping in to say hi. I saw your family awhile back at Cracker Barrel and they told me about your blog -- it's darling! And your baby is absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations on baby number two --boys rock!! Please email me sometime. I would love to hear from you.

Totally had a similar experience. I walked into a home decor store, and it was covered in orange, burgandy, and chocolate brown for fall. I felt out of place wearing my white skirt, blue shirt and summer sandles... Then I thought, It's 89 degrees! It's still summer in Florida, anything goes! ...or not...?? But I hear ya!

I think that rule shouldn't apply to Florida or Arizona! We haven't dropped below 95 yet! Saylor's so cute. :)

Okay, I am pretty positive that you have no idea who I am; we went to High School together. Anyway, I came across your blog visiting Tiffany's blog and I just wanted to tell you that you have an adorable family and you look great!
