Happy Easter

I hope you all had a great Easter weekend. My little sister Kortney flew in from D.C. and spent a few days with us. We had fun, shopping, eating, talking, watching movies, and eating some more! We also got to see our nephew Isaac who we miss so so much!!! He is the cutest little boy!

The Quilted, Quicker, Picker, Upper!!

Bobby and I are the "activities committee" for our church. Friday we went to the church to set up tables and chairs for our Bishops Breakfast on Saturday. About 30 minutes in, Bobby picks up Saylor and says she needs her bum changed. She's had a number 2oozyy! Bobby starts changing her and asks where the diapers are. I say "in my bag". Bobby replies "there aren't any"..........so we had to think quick and this is what we came up with!! paper towels and scotch tape= diaper.

The Bachelor

So I have a girlfriend who I haven't talked to for awhile and come to find out she's one of the girls on the new Bachelor. He even gave her the "First Impression" Rose last night!! Super stoked for you! The only thing she said is that she makes it further then she expected to! Nice work Amanda!! Can't wait to see what happens!! Oh it's Tivo'd for sure!

Beach Bums

We went to New Smyrna Beach for the weekend and stayed on grandpa and grandma parker's new boat. It was so nice to have some QT with the Bobby and Saylor. We took Saylor to the beach for the first time and she loved it! Now we can't wait to go to the Bahamas!!

Blue Light Special

One of my hobbies or enjoyments are notecards of any kind. I rarely venture into "Wally World" unless it's necessary(i.e. Ben and Jerry's "Everything But The" Ice cream) Wal Mart is a very different experience out here. So I went to the "blue light special isle" and found some really cute notecards for 75 cents a pack. nothing like a good steal. so I bought 'em and here they are.

Lunch Break

"MATER"

only in florida can you take your lunch break and go jet skiing any time of the year. a friend of mine wanted to see a picture of our lake. Amber I took this picture today, while my husband came home for lunch and took the jet ski out for a spin. Or should I say "mater". Bobby is so proud of his "awesome" stand up jet ski circa 1980. he paid $200 for it and did some fine tuning and that baby purrs now. I could find better things to spend $200 on! :)

like father like...daughter?

I love day light savings!! Bobby doesn't get home from work until 6 and it was always dark outside so we could never spent time out by the lake. So tonight we bbq'd and saylor spent some quality time with daddy. they look so much alike it's scary! I just love those two!

Fashion Rocks

So I have to admit I'm totally obsessed with "Project Runway" and have been since it started. This year by far had the most talented designers. All 3 finalists had amazing collections, but the winning collection from Christian was, in his own words "FIERCE"!!! I love dresses and only wish I had an excuse to wear one of these, but then again I couldn't afford them! Cant wait for next season!!

our close friends carolyn & scott got married last night. they threw one heck of a wedding and we had the best time!! it's always nice to have an excuse to get dressed up. i decided to brave it and wear a silver sequined dress, which I could have stood in the middle of the dance floor and been the "disco ball" :) bobby's mom watched saylor overnight so me and bobby had a mini vacation. I secretly always wanted to be a wedding planner. it's crazy how much money is spent for a 5 hour party! my thought is why not spread it out and have a wedding every couple of years. I would love to have another wedding! anway, we love you guys and it only gets better from here!!
